Children start to learn verbal language quickly when they are 2 – 2 ½ years old. During the sensitive period, they can memorize high volume of new vocabulary, phrases and sentences.
The main medium of instruction in our school is English. As English is not the home language in Vietnam, our teachers are trained to repeat vocabulary, phrases and sentences with high frequency so that our children can imitate them. This tactic proves to be highly effective.
Besides everyday conversation, we also train our children to do presentation and discussion. Their English proficiency exceeds our expectation. Every year we witness our children doing fantastically well during our graduation concert. The fact that they can present fluently under such high stress situation underline their high level of competency in verbal English.
