Let's celebrate Moon Festival with MMI children!
Every year at MMI, children and parents participate in many interesting and meaningful activities to celebrate the Moon Festival. This year, the children, along with their parents, learned how to make mooncakes. These are surely invaluable mooncakes made by the children themselves. Besides learning the skill of making mooncakes, this is also a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bond between parents and children. At the end of the day, the children will bring the mooncakes home for the whole family to enjoy. Additionally, on the exact day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, children get to listen to stories about the festival’s origins and play games related to Mid-Autumn traditions in other countries. In the afternoon, the children “break the feast” with a small party in the classroom and parade with lanterns around the school campus. Afterwards, each child receives a Mid-Autumn gift from the Moon Lady and Uncle Cuoi. What a wonderful day!
